Two New Classes Coming in For Honor Season 3

For Honor has two new classes coming for Season 3, the previously leaked Highlander and the Gladiator, along with two new maps, Legendary gear rarity, and increased maximum Reputation cap for each class. In addition, the new Season will also bring Competitive tournaments, first featuring 1v1 Duels. For Honor's Season 3 begins on August 15.

Highlander (Viking Hybrid)

For Honor's Highlander is the first class to feature two different fighting forms: defensive and offensive.

The Highlander's defensive form allows for powerful counter-attacking and attack-trades, while the offensive form completely disables your ability to block to launch his most deadly attacks.

Wielding the heaviest and longest sword in the game, the Highlander’s massive claymore gives them a deadly combination of strength and range.

Gladiator (Knight Assassin)

The Gladiator has little to offer in armor and defense, but they will definitely make up for it in their offensive abilities. Somewhat of a mixture between the Shinobi and Centurion before him, the Gladiator can create separation from his opponents to set up mid-range attacks and stuns. The class also possesses a large stamina pool to continue their assault and has reduced cooldown times.

Wielding a trident and shield, Gladiators have made a living off of killing for sport, and now bring their ruthlessness and skill to war.

As with the previous Season, the two new classes will be available for Season Pass holders as soon as Season 3 begins, and will open later for all standard players.

Other New Content

Two new maps are included in For Honor's Season 3: Sentinel and Viking Village. Both feature environmental weapons to abuse, as well as unique pathways and structures throughout.

Sentinel features a ballista, which you can use to shoot at other players and kill them outright, while the Viking Village features a hidden trap that will launch a spike, rolling object that, if caught, will crush players under its path.

Additionally, Season 3 will introduce a new Legendary gear rarity, aimed to increase the amount of customization options and introduce continued variation, and increase the max Reputation for all classes to 40. And to assist new players, the previous gear sets should be obtainable at lower levels.

Finally, Season 3 will also bring Competitive tournaments to For Honor, first with 1v1 Duels. Competing in tournaments will allow you to earn higher rankings, which reset every Season, to win exclusive rewards. Competitive play will branch into 4v4 Ranked modes later this year.

For Honor's Season 3, with the Highlander, Gladiator, new maps, gear, and tournaments, begins on August 15.
